First Lady launches Maternal and Child Health Care Innovation Project

The First Lady of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Mrs. Fatima Bio has officially launched the China-Sierra Leone Maternal and Child Health Care Innovation Project on Tuesday June 5, 2018 at the Atlantic Hotel, Lumley Beach in Freetown. Launching the project, Mrs. Fatima Bio underscored the importance of maternal and child care in the country pointing out that the deplorable health facility in the country is of high concern to her, stating that her Government’s agenda is focused on education to improve on health service delivery.

FOCUS 1000 and University students get second place winning on Health Hackathon competition on Risk Communication for West Africa

As part of the ECOWAS Regional Program supporting Pandemic Prevention (RPPP) RPPP risk communication strategy, Sensi Tech Innovation Hub in partnership with GIZ and GFA have completed a four days (28th-31st May) Health Hackathons on Risk Communication competition for Sierra Leone at the Sensi Tech Hub in Freetown.
