Communication Strategy for the Introduction of Rotavirus Vaccine in Sierra Leone
The Government of Sierra Leone, UNICEF, and the World Health Organization are introducing the rotavirus vaccine in Sierra Leone for the first time to contribute to the EPI goal of increasing the percentage of under-one children fully immunised against vaccine preventable diseases including rotavirus diarrhoea. FOCUS 1000 provided technical expertise and assistance in developing a comprehensive communication strategy for the introduction of the rotavirus vaccine, launched in March 2014.
